An all-cuts budget will only make California’s economic problems worse. Cutting health care, college financial aid, state parks, and support for the poor, elderly, homeless, etc. will cost the state more money than it saves, balloon the ranks of the unemployed, and undermine efforts at economic recovery. The Governor and Republicans in the legislature cannot be allowed to let our state self-destruct!
