Dear Governor Schwarzenegger,
The Constitution Annotated (also known as CONAN) is a legal treatise prepared by the federal government that explains the U.S. Constitution in layman’s terms based upon Supreme Court decisions. Unfortunately, this valuable document is not made available to the public in the way it should. (More info here: http://bit.ly/cKzyPT)
You, as the original Conan, can weigh in and call for the Government Printing Office and the Congressional Research Office to make our public information available online in the way that it should be. Don’t let that crazy comedian Conan O’Brien, who shares only a first name with that famous barbarian and an online petition (http://act.ly/1tq), get the jump on this important issue.
Support making the Constitution Annotated available to the American people: online, in real time, and in XML.
