According to the Staten Island Advance, Democrat Rep. Mike McMahon (NY-13) was attacked by Republican Michael Allegretti for supporting the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act.

It is refreshing to see a Democrat stand up so strongly for migrant rights, and the interests of migrant youth. We need more of this from our politicians if we’re ever going to be able to combat the nativist misinformation that plagues the United States.
