The city of Sacramento recently passed an ordinance requiring that traveling shows provide humane care to animals. Forcing elephants to perform difficult and painful tricks violates this ordinance.

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson caved to Ringling’s scare tactics and allowed lame elephants to perform painful tricks in Sacramento. The city must uphold the ordinance requiring circuses to provide humane care to animals. http://bit.ly/bU7pm3
