Senator Brown and the Australian Greens,

The Greens and the Opposition both agree that the Government is not doing nearly enough to address the mental health crisis in Australia. And if you work together with the independents, there is an opportunity for every non-government representative in Parliament to vote for increasing mental health funding.

It would be a first, and put enormous pressure on the government to fund important mental health services through the next budget.

There will be a vote on Peter Dutton’s motion in the House of Representatives in a fortnight, and the Opposition have indicated that they are open to amendments. Please Greens, support the motion for better mental health funding.
