Dear Rep. Foster:

Please vote YES on the “DREAM Act” when it comes up for a vote this week. The DREAM Act is bipartisan legislation that recognizes immigrant youth who have been raised in the United States, have worked hard in school, and who will pursue higher education or serve the United States Armed Forces, should they be given an opportunity to pursue the American Dream.

The Congressional Budget Office recently estimated that the most recent version of the bill would generate $2.3 billion in new revenue and reduce the national deficit by $1.4 billion over ten years. Congress must not ignore the enormous national security and economic benefits that DREAM will bring to the nation.
