Dear Representative Grayson, We DEMAND that you insert an unemployment benefits package for the TierV 99ers, the people SUFFERING the WORST. We request you build a tax incentive program for businesses to encourage hiring of the longest unemployed. The fiscal implications of letting MILLIONS lose their homes, cars, etc. will DEVASTATE the economy, food banks, homeless shelters & human services agencies, not to mention their futures. Food banks across the nation are SCREAMING for help while charity contributions from the wealthy have fallen dramatically while 54,000,000 people use them. 17.2 MILLION of them are CHILDREN and 6 Million are SENIORS! Foreclosed families are living in cars/on the streets or have moved in with family, creating untold tensions and misery. Suicide rates have risen DRAMATICALLY as have child & domestic abuse. People are dying because they have no money for medicine or food and opting to die when finding themselves with a major illness they are uninsured for, rather than leave more debt for their children. The statistics go on and on and are ONLY impacting the middle class which has now fallen into the poverty class. America CAN NOT re-build without providing basic food and shelter to it’s CITIZENS, the millions of suffering children, parents and seniors. A strong foundation is what is required economically and morally. Thank you for all you have been doing to try to help the disenfranchised of our country. PLEASE stand up for the long term unemployed and their families. Respectfully, Believers in what you are doing P.S.
