Mr. President,

In 2008, we came out to volunteer and vote in record numbers for change.

We gave you a landslide victory as a mandate that we as a country share your vision of America over the politics of the past.

You have done great things in your short time in office so far. We are still behind you and rooting for you. The majority of the population who overwhelmingly supported you in 2008 didn’t go away or disappear. We just feel that candidate Obama promised a harder fight than President Obama is delivering.

We are not unreasonable, we understand the premise of compromise and the fact that we will not get everything we want.

We just need you to fight for us more than ever because we are hurting down here while millionaires and billionaires are making more money than they ever have in the history of time.

We beg you to fight the republicans on using the debt ceiling to force you to implement their failed spending cuts.

The republicans are playing hostage politics at our expense and we need you to fight for us!

I promise we are right behind you in this fight. We want you to raise taxes on those who can afford it instead of cut those who cannot.

Please show us the fighter of the people we elected in 2008 and remind us why we should come out again in 2012.
