The jobs crisis is rightfully a “make or break” issue for voters. Because what happens on the jobs crisis won’t just determine who wins the next election—or who has a job today—but the kind of country America becomes for our children and our grandchildren.

Republicans in Congress ran for office on job creation promises. But since taking office, they have been a complete failure in that regard. It’s shocking that Republicans broke their promises so quickly—and so lightly—when so many across America are out of work.

It’s hard to blame any one person for such massive failure. But there is one man who is in charge of the U.S. House of Representatives and controls its agenda—he alone decides what gets brought to the floor for a vote.

Speaker Boehner needs be held accountable. He refused to bring bills that would create jobs to the floor of the House.
