The Occupy Wall Street movement is in desperate need of a communication tool that allow people to access general assemblies online and through their mobile devices.

While there are numerous apps on the market that do something similar, Turntable.fm provides a unique experience which allows people to visualize others in the room, and focus their attention on the current speaker, along with others on deck. Their excellent consensus-building and chat features also provide a means to communicate outside of the highlighted speaker.

Additional effort would be required to allow for telephone audio to be shared in place of the music, but in addition to appealing to a wide base of your audience, it would support the largest social movement in the history of the planet.

Not to mention: #OccupyTurntable is a pretty sweet marketing campaign! :)
