The Hyatt Andaz in West Hollywood has reported it is in contract talks with the world-renowned chef to revitalize the hotel’s RH restaurant. But in a new video, Hyatt workers and supporters ask Morimoto to think twice about getting into bed with a company like Hyatt. Watch the short video here: Hyatt workers’ injury rates are high, their wages are low, and immigrant women are exploited by Hyatt’s housekeeping subcontractors. Hyatt workers and supporters do not believe these practices reflect the ideals of honor and tradition that Iron Chef Morimoto lives by. Hyatt hotel workers are fighting for safe, fair conditions throughout the Hyatt Hotel chain. Thousands of people have pledged to boycott Hyatt to put a stop to Hyatt’s abuse and exploitation of hotel workers.
