Many voices in Sherman Oaks are being silenced by a few.

The Sherman Oaks community has a chance to experience a mixed-use development that would enhance the area, bring economic benefits to businesses, and create jobs and tax revenue. On July 9, that chance could vanish.

The Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council (SONC) voted in favor of il Villaggio Toscano in May and then decided to reconsider their YES vote, disregarding the voices of many and ignoring the community benefits being offered.

What about the hundreds of Sherman Oaks residents who have spoken up in favor of improving their community?

What happens now to the 18 months of hard work by the SONC Land Use Committee and many community stakeholders?

Support for neighborhood revitalization in Sherman Oaks should not be silenced! On July 9, remind SONC that their YES vote should not be changed.
