During the House Judiciary Committee markup of the USA Patriot Amendemnts Act of 2009, Lamar Smith suggested that adding civil liberties safeguards to the Patriot Act “expands terrorist rights”.

Most Americans are more bold than Smith—-we do not offer to give up liberty for a little temporary security.

Let’s show him what America is really all about!
