Please sign the petition if you think something must be done to stop the user @spaceastro, formerly @astronautics. He has repeatedly insulted, harassed, stalked, bullied and humiliated dozens of Twitter users, often making racist and misogynic comments.

Bypassing Twitter and attempting to resolve this on our own can only do more harm than good. More likely, we’ll simply antagonize the guy into taking even harsher actions himself.

So instead, we’re asking Twitter to step in and do the right thing, stopping the guy from affecting the lives of more Twitter users.

If you’re not sure about this, remember we already started a similar petition on other service with over a hundred signatures, but the guy started posting defamatory stuff and getting into name-calling there, and we had no control over it so we had to close the petition in order to protect the privacy of some of his victims.
