Sign if you support a home seller’s right to opt out of an inaccurate Zillow zestimate or other computer generated value on their online home for sale listing. Can an inaccurate zestimate be misleading? (see Spencer Rascoff comment to this post: http://bit.ly/GHLdX If so, can a misleading zestimate or computer valuation cause a buyer to pass over a home for sale online? A home seller should have the right to remove an inaccurate Zillow zestimate (or other AVM) from their homes online, if the homeowner believes it can be misleading. Zillow and others ought to give home owners this opt-out. If you agree a home seller has an opt-out right, let’s let Zillow & other AVM companies know about it. Thank you.
