We strive very hard to "do the right thing." If we're not, let us know @actly.
  • We do not collect or disseminate any information about you that isn't publicly available via Twitter. Here is Twitter's privacy policy.
  • If information is being displayed on act.ly that you want removed (like your short bio or website), you should:
    1. Sign out from act.ly.
    2. Update your information on Twitter
    3. Sign back in to act.ly, and it will automatically update.
  • We never have your Twitter password. When you first create or sign a petition, you will be redirected to Twitter's site to give act.ly permission to tweet for you. This is the proper way to do it. Sites that ask for your password should be avoided, they are likely to be scams.
  • We will never send a tweet without your explicit permission. If you see a link that says "tweet", then that means you'll be tweeting. We hate it when sites tweet for you without making it absolutely clear.
